Yessss.
I liked this story but it feels like you’re scratching the surface. There’s a much more poignant story that wants to come out. That’s such a good character/arc – one of many, especially in a family, that doesn’t fit the mold. That never understands or can do what the rest seem to adhere to easily. Then the pivotal moment in which they leave and no one pays much attention. Oof. There’s real and raw here.
